Oklahoma law stipulates that schools must be in session for a minimum of 166 days. The snow storm in late January caused Amber-Pocasset Public Schools to fall below that threshold by one day. As such, Friday, April, 3 2026, will now be a virtual day. We were already scheduled to be out of school that day. Making this small adjustment to the calendar will allow us to be in compliance with state law. The updated calendar can be seen at www.amposchools.org and clicking on the link at the top of the page for "25-26 School Calendar". At the top of our homepage, you can also find the link for the 26-27 school calendar.

OG&E Coliseum map. They will have a designated “home/visitor” section. These two sections will be emptied after each game so that they have a designated seating area for the teams playing to make sure they get a chance to try and sit together.

Dear Am-Po Family and Friends,
We're sorry for the short notice, but Wednesday, March 4 will be a VIRTUAL day for Amber-Pocasset Public Schools due to the state basketball tournament in OKC. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause with child care and is why we wanted to get this information out to our parents as soon as possible. We hope that many of our fans will have the chance to come watch our high school girls at 10:30am inside the new OG&E Coliseum on the State Fairgrounds!

• $10.00 at the gate
🎫 Passes Accepted:
• OSSAA playoff passes only
• No local or senior citizen passes will be accepted
📺 Games will not be live streamed
🪑 Student seating: Student sections should not sit behind the opposing team’s bench or directly across from it.
🚫 Not allowed at games:
Bands, noise makers, confetti, banners, signs, flags, thundersticks, balloons, laser lights, fat heads, megaphones, or any other distractions.
📢 Coaches will handle officials — fans should not address referees.
🏀 Spirit lines: Only participants may be on the gym floor. No students or fans allowed.
